Guwop had his day in court today and plead guilty to his gun possession by a felon charge. Facing up to 10 years in prison, he’s been ordered to remain behind bars for only 39 months after accepting a plea deal. In Gucci’s favor, the judge is knocking off his 10 months already served. He’s also facing $250,000 in fines.

Donald Sterling say’s ‘I’m Not A Racist’

Former Clippers owner Donald Sterling broke his silence in an exclusive interview with Anderson Cooper airing tomorrow night, in which he insisted that he’s not as racist as the hourlong recording made him out to be.

“I’m not a racist, I made a terrible, terrible mistake,” he told Cooper, saying that wanted “to ask for forgiveness for all the people that I’ve hurt. And I’ve hurt so many people…When I listen to that tape, I don’t even know how I can say words like that.”

As to why he waited for nearly two weeks to make any apologies, Sterling said that he was “just so emotionally distraught, and the reason it’s hard for me, very hard for me is that I’m wrong. I caused the problem. I don’t know how to correct it.”

In addition, he claimed that V. Stiviano, the woman he made racist statements to in the leaked recordings, had “baited” him (“I thought she liked me and really cared for me”), and, strikingly, didn’t pay attention when the Clippers turned their jerseys inside out to protest his racist remarks.

“They are Clippers, and they’re mine and I’m theirs,” he said, adding that he hoped “it’s in their heart to forgive” him for his mistakes.

The beef between Floyd Mayweather and Nelly is getting real. After taking the boxing champ’s ex-fiancée to a basketball game this past week, Floyd blasted Shantel Jackson on his Instagram, revealing that she had an abortion when she was pregnant with their twins back in December. Now, Nelly is responding to Floyd by posting photos to his Instagram that tell his side of the story. While an old photo of the two dapping each other up in the club surfaced, apparently the reports of them being friends is false. 10245935_325565547568757_398815029_n He captioned the photo of his response:

I take being called a friend and being one serious and would never do anything to jeopardize that situation if indeed that’s what it is..

Who knew I had this kinda power….!!!!LMAO

This is really getting out of hand.

Meanwhile, Floyd is gearing up for his big match tonight against Marcos Maidana, and even though he’s got the Money Team on his side, he still has the situation on his mind. In an exclusive interview with Big Tigger on V-103, he told his side of the story in regard to Miss Jackson, her alleged plastic surgeries, abortion, and why he’s hurt by the Nelly situation. He even throws some shots at her by saying that “she’s at a point to where she’ll do anything for fame”

Miley Cyrus speaks on people saying she’s exploiting black culture.

“Somehow a lot of people thought I was exploiting black culture. The reason why I hired those girls for the VMAs is because they’re not white, skinny girls—they’re healthy-looking girls. Like, moms—usually they hate me—but they come up and they’re like, “Thank you so much for having girls that look like my daughter dancing for you.” Those girls have danced together since they were six years old—I could never be like, “Hey, I’ve got to break you up ’cause it’s politically correct to throw a white bitch in here.” I was on the Disney Channel, where you need to make sure there’s, like, an Asian girl and a black girl and a Puerto Rican girl in every scene. And that isn’t life!”

Critic Tressie McMillan Cottom wrote that your performance reminded her of being hit on by drunk white people “ironically”—the joke being that, as a black woman with a stereotypically thick body, she wasn’t actually sexy.

MC: I’m definitely not making a joke of it. Those are literally my friends. And by the way, you can ask me anything—I’ll never be offended. A lot of people who have made those comments are older—they were living in a world that was more defined by color. Now that isn’t black culture—that’s just culture in general. That’s pop culture; that’s the way we dance. These pissed-off moms on the Internet—they don’t understand that when you go to a club now it’s not about being black or white or heavy or thick. I’m shaking my ass because I want to shake my ass, not ’cause “I’m dancing like a black girl!” Even in the fashion industry people are accepting bodies, and I think Kim Kardashian’s done that for a lot of girls. It’s kind of why I was excited for you to be interviewing me—I sit with a lot of old people that try to get me to explain culture. I’m like, “I don’t know how—you’re just not living in the same world I’m living in.”

What about people who feel you’re appropriating “ratchet” culture to look cool without acknowledging the race and class implications? Do you really think they just give you a hard time because they’re old, and not because these are their lived experiences?

MC: We actually stepped away from “ratchetness” for that reason. For us, it was meant to describe an aesthetic, like ratchet nails or ratchet whatever. I’m not, like, making fun of a culture. You just do it ’cause that’s just a weird title, it’s like selfie. That was just a word that was popular last year. I don’t even love it when girls call each other slut, like, “Hey, slut” or whatever, but it’s your intention and the way you say it [that matter]. I call it the Selfie Generation, what I’m in—you too. I just think old people—I feel bad that I call them old, ’cause they’re probably in their thirties or forties—but they just don’t understand it.

Donald Sterling’s Daughter After game 3

LA Clippers owner Donald Sterling is about to have A LOT of explaining to do.

Though we all would love to commit to the idea that racism is a thing of the past, a recent conversation between Sterling and his girlfriend proves otherwise.

TMZ obtained the audio, where Sterling criticizes his girl V. Stiviano – who is part black – on the phone for “associating with black people,” begging her to stop promoting her love for “minorities” since she is largely viewed as a Latina or White girl.

The audio is chilling, as Sterling pleads with Stiviano, who argues back and asks what’s wrong with Black people repeatedly.

Some of his comments include:

– “It bothers me a lot that you want to broadcast that you’re associating with black people. Do you have to?” (3:30)

– “You can sleep with [black people]. You can bring them in, you can do whatever you want. The little I ask you is not to promote it on that … and not to bring them to my games.” (5:15)

– “I’m just saying, in your lousy f******* Instagrams, you don’t have to have yourself with, walking with black people.” (7:45)

– “…Don’t put him [Magic] on an Instagram for the world to have to see so they have to call me. And don’t bring him to my games.” (9:13)

Apparently, Sterling has a history of racist behavior, as he was accused of refusing to sell apartments to blacks and latinos, which led to the federal government suing him.

Magic Johnson has responded to the racist comments, and said that “it’s a shame” that he won’t let his girlfriend associate herself with other African Americans.

“It’s a shame that Donald Sterling feels that way about African-Americans. He has a team full of amazing African-American basketball players that are working to bring a championship to Clippers fans. The Clippers also have a strong minority fan base.”

Suspects beat, rob elderly man in Brooklyn building

Chief Keef recently called out Atlanta trio Migos over an alleged “sneak diss” on a track they released entitled “Brokanese.” To say the least, Chief Keef wasn’t happy about that. Shortly thereafter Migos went on to release “Jealousy,” a track perceived to be a direct diss against Keef and his affiliates in Glo Gang. This didn’t sit too well with Keef who subsequently issued a warning to the Atlanta trio. “Warning Diss Records Lead to A lot More,” he wrote.

Chief Keef then went on to post a meme to his Instagram featuring Lion King’s Mufasa telling Simba to never go to the dark, shadowy place, which is Chicago, IL. “Shootin at everybody black white, Mexican People!” the caption on the photo read.

Migos are set to perform in Chicago on Dec. 21. No word as of yet whether Chief Keef (who is currently in rehab) or his Glo Gang will be in attendance.

Oprah Winfrey has amassed a $2.9 billion fortune, had a nationally syndicated talk show last for 25 years and basically has it all, except children. In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the iconic mogul explains how her ambition prevented her from having children.
Oprah admits that while her best friend and mother of two Gayle King was picking the names of her future children, she was having “daydreams about how I could be Martin Luther King.” This unwavering passion and her subsequent decades of success are the primary reasons Oprah has never had children:
They would have ended up on the equivalent of the Oprah show talking about me; because something [in my life] would have had to suffer and it would’ve probably been them.
Today (December 12th), the full list of nominees for the 71st annual Golden Globes were announced and surprisingly Lee Daniels’ The Butler was completely shut out. The Hollywood Reporter interview happened months before the nominations were announced, however Oprah sensed Hollywood was still not keen to her even after her critically acclaimed performance in The Butler:
That’s the reality of being 59 and female, not to mention a woman of color.
The 71st annual Golden Globes will take place on January 12th.
