Tiny Wants T.I. Back!

Tiny was live streaming when she declared she doesn’t need to “go back” to T.I. — but she did say someone needs to get his ass moving. It was quite romantic.

Legendary rapper and Wu-Tang Clan member Ghostface Killah has announced an 11 stop North American tour dubbed “The Glory Days” tour. The artist took to Instagram to post the dates starting in Vancouver, British Columbia and ending in Tampa, Florida.

While the rapper has not announced details yet on special performers, you might expect to see appearances from Wu-Tang Clan or maybe even Rich Chigga as the two recently hopped on a track together.

Meek Mill’s Instagram account has, once again, disappeared. And many people are speculating it’s all because of Nicki Minaj.

TMZ reports WorldStarHipHop founder Lee “Q” O’Denat has died at the age of 43. Details are scarce right now, but the report states that he passed away in his sleep on Monday night. A source added Q died of a heart attack, though an autopsy is scheduled for later today.

Q founded WorldStarHipHop in 2005 and it quickly changed the rap industry in terms of how media was delivered to fans.

The site started off as a site for mixtapes, but quickly grew into a home for just about anything, including fight videos, mashups, music videos, and so much more. The site transformed popular culture and became a go-to place for the hip-hop youth to gravitate to and not only discover new music, but stay up to date on news and whatever else.

It was more or less the pioneer for the culture at a time when not much was budding in this territory online. The WorldStar culture branched out to the point where if anything crazy happened in public, someone would undoubtedly yell out, “Worldstar,” as it happened. That impact is undeniable.

For her very first in-depth interview, Paris Jackson joined Rolling Stone for an expansive cover story discussion on her growing career and memories of her late father, Michael Jackson. Paris even spoke on the circumstances surrounding her father’s death, presenting her belief that he was set up by an unnamed party. Michael’s death, Paris asserted to Rolling Stone’s Brian Hiatt, was “absolutely” a murder.

“Absolutely,” Paris said. “Because it’s obvious. All arrows point to that. It sounds like a total conspiracy theory and it sounds like bullshit, but all real fans and everybody in the family knows it. It was a setup. It was bullshit.” Though Paris declined to give names, she did tell Rolling Stone that “a lot of people” wanted her father dead.

The path to justice, Paris added, is a chess game. “And I am trying to play the chess game the right way,” she said. “And that’s all I can say about that right now.”

Paris also spoke at length about Michael’s continued influence on her life. “My dad raised me in a very open-minded house,” she told Rolling Stone. “I was eight years old, in love with this female on the cover of a magazine. Instead of yelling at me, like most homophobic parents, he was making fun of me, like, ‘Oh, you got yourself a girlfriend.'” The full interview, which is very much worth your time, can be found on Rolling Stone.

Chrisette Michele’s Inaugural Ball performance didn’t go as she expected.

In the days leading up to Donald Trump’s inauguration, it was revealed that the 34-year-old R&B singer had agreed to perform for the incoming president. The news was fairly shocking, as many A-list, B-list, and C-list entertainers had refused to perform at the events—presumably out of fear of media backlash. Which is exactly what happened to Michele.

In an interview with Billboard, the singer revealed that Twitter users weren’t the only ones to criticize her decision to perform for at the ball; her family members—some of whom are activists, including former Black Panthers—have since disowned her. And to make matters worse, Trump did not personally acknowledge her at the event.

Originally I was supposed to perform directly after his first speech, and I had done that with Barack Obama before, so I was used to that kind of experience. And the woman who organized the event came and told me, “Now you’re going to go first and he’s going to go after you.” I looked her in the eye and said, “My family has disowned me. If you decide to Google me, you’ll see that America is writing about me in their newspapers. I’m the black poster child for discord right now, and he’s not going to shake my hand?” So no, I didn’t get to meet him.

Michele acknowledged the president “has a lot of other things going on,” but remained hopeful that she would one day meet him.

She also attempted to shut down claims that her decision was strictly motivated by money. Though the singer claimed she performed for Barack Obama for free, she admitted the Inaugural Ball was a paid gig, but not as much as people believe.

“No, I didn’t perform for free,” she told Billboard. “One, it wasn’t $750,000, but my manager did negotiate my contract.”

This latest episode of Love & Hip-Hop: New York did a number on our emotions. The show began with the incredible news that Remy Ma and Papoose were expecting their first child together; but by the episode’s end, it was revealed that the 36-year-old MC had suffered a miscarriage.

In Monday’s episode, Remy opened up about her loss, explaining she had experienced an ectopic pregnancy. She then underwent surgery to remove the fetus, and was told she would be unable to get pregnant again.

Shortly after the show aired, Remy posted an emotional Instagram video she filmed from her hospital bed after the loss.

“I had a chance to go to a store and see mad baby stuff. I bought a pregnancy journal and started filling it out. I never for one second thought that it would end like this for me in the hospital,” she said in video. “I have stitches in my stomach and no baby. Today I was thinking of names, planning the nursery […]”

In the video’s caption, Remy thanked everyone for their support and offered some words of encouragement for other families who experienced a similar loss.

“This was a hard time for me & my husband & we thought long and hard before deciding to share this part of our lives with you all,” she wrote. “[Papoose] made me realize how many women like myself experience the same thing and don’t have a strong partner by their side to say it will be alright. So I’m here to tell anyone going thru a similar situation that it is not over and God has the last say.”

Does Gucci Mane ever sleep?

Less than a day after he was released from prison last year, the Atlanta rapper dropped a Mike WiLL Made-It-assisted track called “First Day Out tha Feds.” And it seems like he hasn’t stopped working since. For the remainder of 2016, Gucci delivered a slew of singles as well as full-length projects, including his Woptober mixtape, the 1017 vs. The World EP with Lil Uzi Vert, Free Bricks 2K16 with Future, and his Everybody Looking and The Return of East Atlanta Santa albums. It was a busy year, no doubt, but it looks like Guwop isn’t about to take a breather.

On Tuesday, the 36-year-old rapper announced the title of his next studio album—it’s called DropTopWizop.

The name is possibly a reference to Migos’ wildly popular “Bad and Boujee” track, which features the often-cited line “Raindrop, drop top/Smokin’ on cookie in the hotbox.”

Gucci didn’t reveal any more details about DropTopWiztop, including its expected release date, but it’s likely we’ll see production by his frequent collaborators Mike WiLL Made-It, Zaytoven, and Metro Boomin.

Stay tuned as more information about the project comes through.

Big Sean is making his debut as the musical guest on SNL. To celebrate the occasion, the Detroit rapper is debuting new music tonight for one of his performances.

For the first one, Big Sean did a stripped down performance of “Bounce Back.” The second was the premiere of “Sunday Morning Jetpack.” You can watch “Sunday Morning Jetpack” and “Bounce Back” below.

Travis Scott sang “Goosebumps” Friday night on Jimmy Kimmel Live! The performance was visually arresting, featuring wild psychedelic visuals swirling behind the rapper. Travis even managed to work the host’s name into the lyrics, to rapturous applause, and he ended the song by running into the audience.

Fans were thrilled by the unusual performance.
