Vic Mensa & Joey Purp Take Turns Rapping in an Epic Freestyle Session

It’s no secret that Save Money rappers Vic Mensa and Joey Purp are tight, but their recent freestyle on Sway in the Morning takes their collaborative spirit to a whole new level. It starts off pretty normal, with Vic spitting some bars off the top. He’s demonstrated his freestyling abilities over and over recently, so it wasn’t too surprising to see him doing well. Once Joey comes in, however, things really get interesting. He fires off a nice verse before Vic jumps back in for more. Purp comes in again, and soon they’re going line for line with each other. The skills on display are undeniably impressive, especially when they manage to coordinate a dueted ending on the fly.
